Rev. Isaac Naanpukin Kombat is a pastor, educator and community development leader whose work brings together the proclamation of the gospel, the nurturing of believers and practical service to vulnerable communities.
Raised in Najong No. 2 in Ghana’s North East Region, he came to faith at the age of ten through the influence of Rev. Thomas Lambon. His early service in Sunday school, the church choir, youth leadership and sermon translation laid the foundation for a lifelong commitment to ministry.
He went on to serve in Scripture Union at Nalerigu Secondary School and the Assemblies of God Campus Ministry at Tamale Training College and KNUST. He completed his Diploma in Theology in November 2018 and was ordained in January 2025.
Appointed Scripture Union Secretary in 1995, he developed his teaching and preaching skills while serving fellow students. He received water baptism in 1997 and later translated sermons for Rev. Dawuda Natuka Gberik.
As president of the Assemblies of God Campus Ministry at Tamale Training College, he helped launch the ministry on 5 February 2000. During his university years at KNUST, he served in AGCM’s organising department and joined the first committee that developed its National Constitution.
